The next few months will bring a flurry of events and fun to the Sunshine State. Locals and visitors are encouraged to attend the following celebrations and have fun - Florida style!



July 12-13 Pine Island's Mango Mania!
It's all about the mango at this annual tropical fruit fair! The family fun event, held at the German American Club in Cape Coral, features food and recipe contests, creative games and contests, arts and crafts, carnival rides and more!
For those who can't resist this tasty treat, a free mango tasting table and specialty food and beverages are available. Children under 10 are admitted free. Adults are $6 at the door, $5 with advance purchase.

July 14 Lower Keys Underwater Music Festival
What better way to cool off from the hot summer sun than under water! More than 500 visitors are estimated to attend what has become one of the wildest and most unique festivals yet! Featuring the underwater sounds of songwriters Terry Cassidy, Brian Roberts, Howard Livingston, and In Jade, the festival also features 16 pieces of specially created waterproof "underwater" art showcased beneath the waves from the creative community, the Lower Keys Artists In Paradise Gallery on Big Pine Key.

Sept. 26 - Nov. 9 Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival

Oct. 25-26 John's Pass Plaza & Boardwalk Seafood Festival
Taste some of the area's freshest seafood while getting started on your holiday shopping during this Gulf Coast celebration! More than 100 artisans display their talents amid the unique shops of John's Pass Plaza and Boardwalk. Activities will include a fishing expo, children's area, and Halloween costume contest, Haunted House, live music, and a street dance.

Oct. 30 - Nov. 3 49th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
The largest boat show in the world features more than two-billion dollars worth of boats, yachts, superyachts, electronics, engines, and thousands of accessories from every major marine manufacturer and builder worldwide. The boat show encompasses more than three million square feet of space, both on land and in water, at six sites, all connected by the Show Transportation Network.
