DESTINATION - Central Florida
Those visiting the destination of Central Florida are already aware that it's the home to world-famous theme parks, an array of delectable dining, and a diverse mix of hot spots. From couture shopping, brand name luxury hotels and spas, and outdoor adventure, Central Florida has grown to the world-renowned destination for kids of all ages!

Central Florida provides the active traveler with more than 2,000 lakes, springs and rivers for swimming, boating, water-skiing and fishing; in additon to the 800 tennis courts and 21 fitness trails to enjoy.

The "Forever Young" generation... knows how to re-energize before starting a new project at work, relax during that desired weekend getaway, or simply reconnect with a partner for some much-needed laughter!
Get an early-morning tee time at one of Orlando's 176 golf courses or learn from the pros at one of the area's 23 golf academies. How about bass fishing? Spend a morning with A Pro Bass Guide Service on Orlando-area lakes or be assured a catch in a stocked Walt Disney World lake where it's catch and release.
For a leisurely stroll, go to Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, or Historic Bok Sanctuary in Lake Wales.

In nearby Winter Park, visitors are encouraged to sightsee via the Scenic Boat Tour, which offers an hour-long cruise through the city's historic canals with a peek at lakeside mansions. Also in Winter Park, three museums are worth a look: The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art; the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens; and the Cornell Fine Arts Museum.
Those who have dreamed of driving a NASCAR-style stock car can get behind the wheel and pump-up their adrenaline, running at speeds exceeding 150 mph at the Drivetech Racing School & Driving Experience or Richard Petty Driving Experience.
When night falls, the activity doesn't stop! Emeril Lagasse fans can make reservations for Emeril's Orlando. Or, if you want to escape the theme park pace and dine with locals, Luma on Park or Chef Justin's Park Plaza Gardens in Winter Park will have your mouth watering!
For dancing after dark, check out 8Trax at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island with music from the 70s complete with lava lamps and mirror balls. At Universal City Walk, visitors can dance the night away at CityJazz or hang out at Pat O'Brien's piano bar. Blue Martini at The Mall at Millenia is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a specialty drink.

Teens and Tweens... are known for their desire to experience action-packed thrills while on vacation. Learning how to catch the perfect wave, riding heart-pounding roller coasters, and skydiving indoors are just a few of Orlando's offerings to keep your kids on their toes.
Beginning with high-speed flumes and slides at Disney's Blizzard Beach and continuing with the cutting-edge coasters and simulators at Universal's Islands of Adventure, tweens, and teens won't miss a moment of action. Beyond the theme parks, Central Florida offers many opportunities for adventure on airboat rides and fishing excursions where alligator spotting is easy.
Kids can blaze new trails riding a thoroughbred at Horse World Riding Stables, Grand Cypress Equestrian Center, Westgate River Ranch, or Disney's Fort Wilderness.
To explore the oddest of the odd, a trip to Ripley's Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium is a must. Snake fans can see the Reptile World Serpentarium owner George Van Horn extract venom from mesmerizing cobras, then tour the house of 700-plus slithery creatures.
Treat your tweens and teens to a pampering spa treatment! The Ritz-Carlton offers a teen facial, while Disney's Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club and The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort have special packages for kids 12 and under.
The YSpa at Mandara Spa offers massages, skin and hair treatments for guests 13-17 at its two Orlando locations at Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel, a Loews Hotel, and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.

Treat your Pre-Teens and Toddlers...
to attractions made just for them. Kids of all ages enjoy Central Florida's numerous dinner shows including Pirate's Dinner Adventure where swashbucklers prevail, or Arabian Nights and their quest for nobility. DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney West Side is a five-storey interactive, indoor theme park with virtual rides and attractions, which solves many a rainy-day vacation concern.
For Central Florida's youngest visitors the Central Florida Zoo is an ideal spot to witness hundreds of rare and endangered animals on display. For children who can't get enough animal activity the Green Meadows Petting Farm provides a guided tour that includes fun in the pigpen; a chance to milk a cow; pony and train rides; chick cuddling and more one-on-one fun with farm animals.
