Please note: Florida Travel has rates these properties based on first-hand inspections. Trying to figure out which hotel to select is easy with our accommodation rating system, after all, no two families are alike. Our star rating allows you to decide what's important to you and your family. We've outlined the hotels in three categories, taking the guesswork out so you know what to expect and by giving you more insight into your selection. Inside the brochure you will find charts that list all amenities at each hotel. Happy vacationing! Room * Basic. Clean. Needs updating. 'Just a place to lay your head.' ** Economy. Comfortable, acceptable standard furnishings. *** Moderate. New or freshly upgraded furnishings and up-to-date decor throughout. **** Lavish. Rich decor, posh linens and high-end furnishings complete each room. Pool Area * Clean. Older pool and furnishings. Needs updating. ** Newer, but not fancy. Acceptable patio furniture. *** Pool area is a good size and has modern patio furniture. A pleasant place to be. Some will feature towel and food service. **** Topical oasis. A full-service private pool area. Most will feature cabanas, slides, fountains and lush foliage creating an ambiance of luxury. Grounds * Cement. Concrete parking lot. Few trees. ** Simple. A well-maintained building and property. Limited greenery. *** Very well kept. Pleasantly landscaped with pathways. Well laid out and architecturally pleasing to the eye. **** Oasis. Lush tropical royal palms grace the pool areas and pathways. Some will have gated security entrance to pool. Tropical gardens and a heavenly setting. Overall Rating Most overall ratings are determined by an average score; however, on occasion, the overall rating will increase on certain properties as extra amenities, the ambiance and guest services have surpassed the actual room, pool and grounds ratings.
