Florida Travel Centre Responsibility We take great care in choosing the suppliers of services, which together form the travel services you have purchased. We act solely as agents for the suppliers; the suppliers are independent parties over which we exercise no direct control. Suppliers' liability may be limited by law, tariffs or conditions on tickets and in particular you should read and understand the limitations of liability set forth in the airline ticket or cruise documentation. We shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you or your travelling companions or group members, resulting from the acts, omissions or negligence of anyone other than us or our employees acting properly on our behalf. A copy of the Florida Travel Centre travel brochure shall promptly be provided to the customer by the travel agent who sells or offers to sell travel services to a customer(s). The passenger shall be informed by the agent of the need to read the terms and conditions of this brochure. It is strongly recommended that you consider the various types of insurance products offered by your travel agent. Prices All accommodation and car rental prices advertised in this brochure are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Payments Payment must be made through your travel agent by cash, cheque or credit card: VISA, Mastercard or American Express. Florida Travel Centre will appear as the vendor on your statement, if you make a payment with a credit card. Your verbal authorization to use your credit card for deposit and/or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms & conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Automatic cancellation with applicable penalties will result if payment is not received by/on due-date. Credit Cards: The passenger and/or the cardholder give their consent to Florida Travel Centre for the cards use when using a credit card to confirm or pay for a booking. Bookings: 1) Bookings made more than 45 days prior to departure are subject to a 10% deposit,* with full balance being due 45 days prior to departure. 2) Bookings made within 45 days of departure must be paid in full at time of booking. *Theme park passes must be paid in full at time of booking. * Home or condo rentals require a $250 US deposit. Changes to a Booking: If you wish to make any changes to your reservation we will make every attempt to satisfy your request. Acceptance of changes remains at the discretion of Florida Travel Centre. An administration charge of $25 US will apply to any changes. Hotels and Resorts Less than 3 days - full applicable cancellation charges apply. Homes and Condos Less than 45 days - full applicable cancellation charges apply. Cancellations: It is the passenger's responsibility to notify the travel agent of their intention to cancel the travel service. Cancellation charges will be calculated based on the date Florida Travel Centre receives notice of cancellation. Cancellation charges* on Accommodations: Hotels and Resorts More than 3 days prior to departure - $35 US. Less than 3 days prior to departure - 100% of booking. Homes and Condos More than 45 days prior to departure - $35 US. Less than 45 days prior to departure - 100% of booking. Car Rentals No cancellation fees. *The cancellation charge is liquidated damage to compensate Florida Travel Centre for prepayments made on advance booking of travel services and for administrative costs involved in processing a cancellation and is a genuine estimate thereof and is not a penalty. Special Requests: Special requests, such as room locations, adjoining rooms, bed preferences, etc., cannot be guaranteed by Florida Travel Centre as only hotelkeepers can assign rooms upon arrival. However, Florida Travel Centre will attempt to accommodate such special requests, but if such requests cannot be fulfilled, Florida Travel Centre cannot be held responsible. Customs and Immigration: Customs and/or immigration officials can, at their own discretion, deny the passenger entry into their country. A previous criminal record could be an obstacle in international travel, leading to denied entry. Under any circumstances, Florida Travel Centre cannot be held responsible for denied entry. Documentation: It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain, at his own expense, all documentation required by all relevant government authorities, and this may vary depending on citizenship status. Minors travelling alone and single parents travelling with children may be required to obtain special documentation. It is suggested prior to departure, the passenger ascertains the documentation required by the destination. Accommodation and Services: Florida Travel Centre cannot be held responsible if some of the services, bonus features or facilities described in this brochure, cease to be available or are not working. Hotels may limit or alter some facilities without notice, usually for purposes of ongoing maintenance and improvement. Use of recreation facilities and equipment is subject to availability. Because Florida Travel Centre’s hotel rooms are contracted on a "run of the house" basis, specific requirements with regard to room and other special requests cannot be guaranteed, and in many cases, cannot be confirmed prior to departure. Florida Travel Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of bookings (single, double, triple, quad and child) it will accept at a particular property. Check-in/out times: Check-in/out times are determined by each hotel. It is your responsibility to notify the supplier directly of delayed or missed flights. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your reservation. Florida Travel Centre will not refund any unused hotel nights due to flight delay. The supplier telephone number is noted on your travel voucher for your convenience. Resort Fee: Florida Travel Centre is not responsible for any resort fees. Whenever possible they have been outlined in the brochure and are payable directly with the hotel. Gratuities: You are responsible for all gratuities, non-included meals, incidentals, room service and expenses of a personal nature. Service: Contact the hotel manager immediately, should you find your accommodation unsuitable. Contact your travel agent if the matter cannot be resolved. Brochure information/photographs: The occasional error or change in circumstances may occur. However, every effort is made to ensure the information and photographs contained in this brochure are correct at time of printing, yet are subject to subsequent changes. Refunds: There are no refunds on adjustments for portions of the trip not taken or used. Interpretation of the Contract: This contract shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the place of departure from United States, Canada and international conventions and agreements contained herein, regardless of where it is performed. Notice: No agent or representative of Florida Travel Centre has the authority to modify or waive any provisions of these terms and conditions. Claims: The passenger agrees that any claim against Florida Travel Centre shall be made by the passenger in writing and received by Florida Travel Centre no later than 30 days after the event causing the claim. Claims or demands made after 30 days will not be responded to. Claims must be in writing and sent by registered mail to the address of Florida Travel Centre, below, prior to the commencement of any legal proceeding and under no circumstances shall you claim from Florida Travel Centre an amount in excess of the costs of the vacation paid by you. Acknowledgement: The passenger hereby acknowledges having read theses terms and conditions. Validity: This brochure is valid from January 1st 2007 to December 31st 2007 after which they become void or considered obsolete. Please refer to your travel agent for bookings after those dates. To reflect increases in government taxes, exchange rate, etc., prices can be modified. Florida Travel Centre also reserves the right to charge any justified increase in prices. US Address: 2000 S.
